CEBT today announced its partnership with Marathon Health, Inc. to provide a choice in health services for its members in the Garfield County area. Opening this summer, the new Health and Wellness Centers will provide preventative screenings and assessments, health coaching, primary care services, and disease management.

CEBT, administered by Willis of Colorado, is a non-profit multiple employer health benefit trust providing affordable employee benefits solutions to more than 270 public employers throughout Colorado. Marathon Health will provide its Total Population Health Management solution to CEBT members at the two Centers located in Glenwood Springs and Rifle. This innovative health initiative is part of an overall effort to promote a culture of health and wellness for CEBT members while at the same time controlling rising healthcare costs.

CEBT is very excited for this opportunity with Marathon Health, said Willis of Colorado Executive Vice President Bobby Otte. During our review of employee health solutions, we were looking for more than just a medical provider to operate our center. We wanted a partner that could facilitate risk reduction, contain costs, bring innovation, and energize our members about their health. We believe we found that partner in Marathon Health.”

Marathon Health’s ability to change the health profile of a population is based on its collaborative care model. This model moves away from sick care toward a solution focused on the whole person, not just their symptoms. Through this approach and by integrating with other community providers, the onsite clinicians will help employees achieve their goals of leading healthier and longer lives.

Marathon Health is experiencing significant growth across the country and in Colorado specifically because our clients share the same vision and passion for influencing health changes on an organizational and individual level, said Marathon Health Executive Vice President Jeff Shea. Our model is not focused on products but on helping people live better, more productive lives. We are excited to begin working with the team at CEBT to help its members in Garfield County achieve their best possible health.
