PATIENT STORY

Real change starts with the right support

When I hurt my back in 2016, it made me realize that I needed to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. I had lower back pain most of the time, plus the anxiety I was feeling didn’t help either.

Frances Harvey, a Marathon Health Family Nurse Practitioner from the Bendix Health Center in Huntington, Indiana, helped guide me in changing my food habits. She produced a daily food menu for me to follow to help me lose weight. Now, I’m eating healthier and incorporating exercise into my daily life!

I’m happy to say I surpassed my goal weight of 192 pounds. I’m at 179 pounds and feeling a lot better! I’m very proud of myself for achieving my goals. I have less back pain and am more motivated to continue to stay healthy.

My advice? If I can do it, you can too. Focus on eating healthy and incorporating exercise into your daily journey. I guarantee you will succeed as well! — Brian Wiley, Marathon Health Member
